Working and living in China
Are you going to work or study in China for an extended period of time? This country has certain requirements for your health. A medical examination is a mandatory part of the visa procedure.
We regularly perform this medical examination for students, expats and individuals who are staying in the country for a longer period of time. The medical examination for a visa application for China is very comprehensive.
You pay an all-in fee and it is a one-stop-shop. This means that we schedule all examinations on the same day.
The form ‘Physical examination record for foreigner’ covers two pages that must be completed by an independent physician.
The medical examination includes:
- ECG (cardiogram);
- Xray;
- Various blood tests including Hepatitis and HIV;
- Physical examination;
- BMI/Length/weight;
- Medical history;
- Urine check;
- Blood pressure.
What do you bring to the appointment?
- Form for the embassy/university;
- Passport;
- Medicines or list from the pharmacy if you use some;
- A little urine (this does not have to be done on an empty stomach).
The medical examination takes about 30 minutes. After the test, the blood is sent to the lab. As soon as the lab results and the x-ray are in, you will receive all documents from us, both signed and sent by e-mail and (the original papers) by post.
